About this idea
Tiverton's historic Leat has helped shape the town for centuries. Working with the Friends of Tiverton Town Leat, other councils, landowners and residents, we could see more of it flowing again.
What it would take
The Town Council could not do this alone. It would depend on working in partnership, on who owns the land the Leat crosses, on permissions, on whether it is technically possible, and on funding.
Already happening
The Council has committed to funding the next perambulation of the Town Leat, and to making a big event of it. [Add its date when known.]
